Fantastic Wildlife

A facilitated, engaging interactive performance and workshop focused on online safety. This diverse programme explores key topics such as identifying online risks, recognising and responding to cyberbullying, understanding digital manipulation and grooming, strategies for coping with online challenges, and safeguarding mental and physical well-being in the digital world. Participants will also learn to utilise trusted resources like the Molly Rose Foundation, NSPCC, Uk safer internet centre and our own memorable method of the 'F.O.U.R.' - a creative learning tool to help remember effective ways to stay safe online.

Concept / About

Two actor-facilitators, known as The Defenders, are traveling across the galaxy, gathering research and data to create the ultimate galactic Online Safety Guide. Through thought-provoking scenes, they need your help to explore topics such as cyberbullying, digital grooming, protecting personal information, and promoting mental well-being in the digital world. Together, we’ll discover ways to foster kindness, unity, and safety across the online universe. Can you help?"

Available for

Key Stage 2. Our work is challenging and engaging, thought provoking and energetic! We perform our drama to multiple classes/year groups, and then spend the rest of the day delivering our bespoke workshops to individual classes. We can discuss including individuals from other year groups, or doing small group SEN performances should your school deem it appropriate - just ask!

Duration/Logistics

PERFORMANCE - 1 HOUR :
A 40-min performance, followed by an interactive discussion with characters from the show and signposting to helpful charities and resources.
‍WORKSHOPS - 30 MINS EACH : Sessions delivered throughout the day to small groups (one class / 30 children) to solidify our learning & continue exploring our topics in further detail through a fun creative workshop.
TEACHER RESOURCES :
We provide our F.O.U.R method to assist staff in discussing our content in further classes.
